  • Who can buy this product?
    You can only buy this cover if: You own the home you're covering Everything you are covering is in good working order You are not already covered by a similar product
  • What is included in the welcome service?
    Your welcome service includes several check(s) to make sure your boiler and heating system are running safely and efficiently. Your engineer will check for any water leaks, any damage or wear and tear. They'll also carry out a safety inspection to make sure your boiler is using the right amount of gas and not letting off carbon monoxide or other harmful gases. Should a repair to your appliance be identified on your welcome service, your engineer will request a price for you. This repair will need to be completed prior to your Coverplan Agreement being activated. Somerset Gas reserve the right to cancel your agreement and charge for the welcome service at the listed price at the time should it be deemed that your appliance is beyond economical repair or anything else.
  • How do I book a repair?
    Upon signing up to your Coverplan Agreement, you will receive a welcome email and will be provided with all of the numbers you need to report a fault, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • What is the excess?
    Unlike other agreements on the market, Somerset Gas do not charge an excess fee. Our monthly or annual figure is all you need to pay and we'll take care of the rest.
  • How quickly will you send an engineer when something goes wrong?
    We aim to get an engineer out to you within 24 hours of your call. If you're without heating an hot water, we try to get out with you within 12 hours. However, we aim to be flexible and where possible and as circumstances demand it, we will endeavour to be with you on the same day if we are able.

We have you covered night and day, 24 hours, 365 days per year so you don't need to worry about waking us up or calling us over on Christmas Day.  We'll be there for when you need us.
